My deep fascination with stories started from a young age with an early obsession with Greek myths and Legends (Odysseus is still one of my favourite characters). I love. working with stories in my everyday work whether it be in my loft studio creating artwork for books or performing tales with groups. Studying storytelling as part of my degree in Drama, Dance and Music in the late 90’s exposed me to different performance styles for different tales and broadened my appreciation of stories from different countries and cultures. During my time working in education I was heavily invested in the ‘Storytelling for Schools’ approach in Oxfordshire.
I have performed in many different settings including open air festivals, schools and Care homes. Over the years I have honed my craft and developed a repertoire of stories for all ages, with characters from Giants to Giglamesh and settings from Ipswich to Indonesia.
Among my most memorable events are the sell out shows of ghost tales in Lydiard House Museum in Swindon, where I curated and wrote the stories. When not out storytelling I can also sometimes be found working with school groups at Steam museum in Swindon (where I occasionally get mistaken for one of the mannequins! – the closest I’ll ever get to being a male model)
I am a member of the Society for Storytelling (where you can find my storyteller page). If you would like to book me for a storytelling event, please contact me here.
“Thank you so much for adding a completely different dynamic to our camp. We do a feedback sheet and the stories you told were a highlight. I will definitely be back in touch next year.”

I have a couple of videos on my YouTube channel to give an idea of my style and I can be booked for different types of events.
